AutoDM answers comments and messages on Instagram, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp for you. This guide gets you from sign-up to your first automatic reply.
1. Create your account
Go to Start free and sign up with your email. Confirm your email from the message we send you. The free plan has every feature, so you can set everything up before you pay anything.
2. Connect a channel
Open Channels in the app and connect at least one account:
- Connect Instagram: needs an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator).
- Connect a Facebook Page: for Messenger and comments on your Page's posts.
- Connect a WhatsApp number: through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API.
3. Tell the AI about your business
Open Business info and pick a ready-made setup for your kind of business, or write your own. Then add your real prices in Menu & stock. See Business info and ready-made setups.
4. Test it as a customer
Use the Simulator to play the customer: send “price?”, ask for a slot, try a sold-out item. Replies stay in the simulator; nothing is sent to anyone.
5. Switch on your automations
In Automations, turn on the ones the setup created, or create your own. From now on, comments and messages are answered in seconds, new orders land on the Orders board, and chats that need you show up in the Inbox under “Needs a person”.
Tip: turn on phone alerts in Settings so you hear about new orders and chats that need you.
